Background As archaeologists, my partner Kylie Dillinger and I have always enjoyed incorporating digital media into our research; her with 3D modelling and printing artifacts and me with documentary film. When we decided to start this project, we knew immediately that we wanted to take our skills as archaeologists and apply them to issues relatedContinue reading “Geo Mapping Sustainability Resources: University of Denver”

Artifact Interactive
I produced this short video to highlight an interactive art exhibit, designed by my colleague Kylie Dillinger. For her senior capstone project, Kylie did 3D scans of artifacts held in the collections of the University of Denver Museum of Anthropology (DUMA) and created 3D printed replicas which visitors can interact with.
Kukulkan Pyramid
The above 3 minute video is a small portion of a live performance piece and art installation, inspired by Kukulkan Pyramid at the Mayan site of Chichen Itza. L.E. Fish
Concept: L.E. Fish (Light Emitting Fish) is an interactive art piece, designed to convey a narrative about the impacts of plastic and other human made pollutants in the ocean. Human activity has had drastic negative impacts on environmental systems, some of which may be quite unexpected. Jellyfish which have no brain, spine, eyes or bloodContinue reading “L.E. Fish”
