
Geri Evilla is a visual anthropologist with experience in archaeological field work and museum curation and collections. She has contributed to 6 anthropological documentaries and produces social media content for the University of Denver Museum of Anthropology (DUMA) and the DU Department of Anthropology. Geri is interested in integrating diverse forms of digital media into archaeological research and exhibit designs. Her goal is to improve public engagement with archaeology and museums, through visual media such as documentary films, 3D modelling of sites, and augmented reality. Geri’s work discusses issues of sustainability in design and considers how our understanding of the past informs the way we approach modern issues.
